Design Miami Paris 2024 For this second edition, Design Miami Paris returns from October 15 to 20, 2024 to The hotel de Maisons, an 18th-century mansion located in the historic Saint-Germain-des-Prés district of Paris. In parallel with Art Basel/Paris, the event tends to confirm the capital’s place as a mecca of culture and design.Among the projects of around twenty galleries, both local and international, unmissable and more contemporary, such as Galerie Patrick Seguin, Friedman Benda or Hostler Burrows, Galerie kreo is presenting several exceptional pieces this year, such as a Bisazza mosaic armchair designed by Alessandro Mendini , covered in white gold leaf, or the Trait d’Union – Hyphen light fixture by Guillaume Bardet with its bronze ladder. Like a dialogue between modern or 20th-century design and the decor of a historic residence, Design Miami Paris is setting up in an emblematic location in the capital. A prestigious district and a building steeped in Parisian history, the Hôtel de Maisons. This is where several generations of the French noble family Pozzo di Borgo and more recently the famous fashion designer, artist and photographer, Karl Lagerfeld, have settled. An extraordinary setting to bring together the most influential players in the world of design for a few days, like the other Design Miami fairs in Switzerland and the United States. Galerie kreo, a “research laboratory”
Design Miami Paris 2024 on an international scale In the world of design, Galerie kreo, launched by Clémence and Didier Krzentowski in 1999, needs no introduction! For over twenty years, the venue has been exhibiting works by designers from public and private collections, among the most important internationally. It also defines itself as a “research laboratory” with the production of contemporary pieces in limited series and specially designed for the gallery by big names in design such as Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Virgil Abloh or Jasper Morrison. Beyond these productions, the gallery is also renowned for its selection of French and Italian lighting. On the occasion of Design Miami Paris, Galerie kreo reveals two works by German designer Konstantin Grcic as well as by French designer Guillaume Bardet. A way of highlighting the convergence of French and German design aesthetics in Switzerland. In parallel with its participation in the Design Miami Paris fair, Galerie kreo is also exhibiting Ronan Bouroullec, from September 13 to November 16, 2024, with new pieces made from mirrored cast glass, granite, forged and hammered steel, in the continuity of the designer’s research on the design of La Chapelle Saint-Michel de Brasparts in Brittany.

Design Miami Paris 2024 Although the Parisian event is relatively recent, Design Miami has carved out a global reputation since its creation in 2005. With international fairs based in Los Angeles, Basel or Miami Beach, the desire is to bring together the most important players in the world of design and to offer exhibitions and sales of exceptional furniture and objects. Thanks to a solid program, galleries, creatives and visionary curators, this is a second edition expected in Paris!
